INSULATING LIQUID LATEX/SPACER
3S Latex Sep is a natural latex-based liquid that creates a very thin film (12/18 microns or more if desired) that is easily removable and finds various uses in the dental technology field. It is used as a spacer, as a release agent, as a separator and for unloading undercuts.
USE:
- Spacer for temporary crowns or bridges in composite or acrylic resin;
- Spacer for individual copings when modeling with self-curing resin (such as Pattern Express or DuraLay) or light-curing gels (such as Lumix Gel);
- Acts as a protector during sandblasting and insulates against acids;
- Spacer for vacuum thermoforming;
- Insulator for the development of position impressions;
- Spacer for precision attachments;
- Excellent result if applied directly to plaster or prototyped models from 3D printing;
- It is completely removed like a film without leaving any residue.
Ivory in color, it becomes transparent after curing (it does not affect the color of restorations). Quick drying. 3S Latex Sep can be diluted with a few drops of distilled water, in case it thickens.
NB: Acrylic resins tend to shrink when they cure and sometimes weld onto their base, making it difficult to remove. This can cause the plaster model to crack.
3S Latex Sep facilitates removal and creates a gap (e.g. the cement gap between the abutment and the inside of the temporary).
